Abstract: Oral candidiasis is a common fungal infectious disease of the oral mucosa, which is more often seen in people with reduced defenses due to various factors. With the wide application of broad-spectrum antibiotics, glucocorticoids, and the development of novel immunomodulatory agents and biologics, iatrogenic oral candidiasis caused by medicine usage is increasing recently. In the diagnosis and treatment of oral candidiasis, controlling the predisposing factors is the key to achieving good therapeutic effect, so it is important to clarify the predisposing factors of the disease for the standardized diagnosis and treatment. Here we reports a case of oral candidiasis induced by the use of secukinumab for the treatment of psoriasis, aiming to provide reference for clinical understanding of new causes of oral candidiasis and formulating corresponding treatment strategies.
