Two-phase Therapy for Skeletal Class Ⅱ Malocclusion: A Case Report

摘要： 本病例报告系统介绍了1例恒牙列早期骨性Ⅱ类错牙合患者经历Ⅰ期功能矫治及Ⅱ期固定矫治的完整治疗过程。该患者通过Ⅰ期矫形治疗解决三维方向上的骨性不调,继而行固定矫治完善咬合并将牙列排齐内收。通过双期治疗,患者的面部美学,牙齿排列及咬合状态均得到了显著改善。

Abstract: This article outlines the complete management process of a patient with skeletal class Ⅱ malocclusion in early permanent dentition, involving phase Ⅰ orthopedic treatment followed by phase Ⅱ fixed orthodontic treatment. The patient underwent phase Ⅰ orthopedic therapy to address three-dimensional skeletal discrepancy, followed by fixed orthodontics to correct malocclusion. As a result, significant improvements were observed in facial aesthetics, alignment, and occlusion.
