Abstract: Molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH) is an enamel mineralization defect with an estimated prevalence ranging from 2.4% to 40.2%. It is often overlooked and misdiagnosed as ordinary dental caries in clinical practice. Most reported cases involve pediatric patients, while adult cases are highly prone to misdiagnosis. This paper reports the clinical management of an adult MIH patient to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
