Journal of Oral Science Research (JOSR), original named Journal of Comprehensive Stomatology, is a monthly publicly issued stomatological journal by School of Stomatology Wuhan University in partnership with Hubei Stomatological Association and other 17 celebrated Stomatological Schools and Departments. JOSR is awarded by the China National Ministry of Science and Technology as “Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Paper and Citations”. It is the core journals of A Guide to the Core Chinese Periodical (2014) and Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). The journal is also indexed by the American Chemical Society in the Chemical Abstracts, by theAJ,VINITI, by China Science Periodical Database,by China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database,and by China Science and Technology Journal Database.
JOSR was firstly published in June 1985 and superintended by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China. The editor-in-chief is Professor Mingwen Fan, and the Editorial Board Committee of JOSR is composed by many renowned professors in the Chinese Stomatological Schools.During the past 30 years, JOSR always insists the principle of scientific and practical and service for the dental schools, faculties and basic level departments. The aim of the journal is the “Innovation, Faithfulness, and Service”. It is journal’s duty to report the new advancement and new technology of worldwide Stomatology. JOSR has encompassed Viewpoints of well-known specialists, basic and clinical studies, reviews, comments, special Contribution, technicalnotes,Tutorial, clinical reports,case reports,News and Announcements, Summary of Conference, and academic trends. The readers are doctors, teachers, researchers, students, nurses, and technicians in the whole country. JOSR encourages manuscripts submissions from all parts of the world.

JOSR was published from bimonthly to monthly at each 28 since 2011. The total price of the journal is RMB 84 yuan per year, with RMB 7 yuan per issue.
