抑瘤素M调控骨稳态的研究进展

Research Progress on the Regulation of Bone Homeostasis by Oncostatin M

摘要: 骨组织终生处于骨吸收和骨生成的动态平衡状态,即骨稳态。机体内多种细胞和细胞因子可通过复杂的信号网络对骨稳态进行调控。抑瘤素M(oncostatin M,OSM)作为白细胞介素-6(interleukin-6,IL-6) 家族成员,是一种具有多种生物学活性的细胞因子。近期研究结果表明,成骨细胞、骨细胞和巨噬细胞等能通过分泌OSM调节骨形成和骨吸收,OSM在骨稳态的维持中发挥重要的双向调节作用。本文拟对OSM调控骨稳态的研究进展作一综述。

Abstract: Bone tissue is in the dynamic equilibrium state of bone resorption and bone formation throughout life, namely bone homeostasis. In the body, a complex network of cells and cytokines regulates bone homeostasis. Oncostatin M (OSM), as a member of the IL-6 family, is a cytokine with multiple biological activities. Recent studies have shown that osteoblasts, osteocytes, and macrophages can regulate bone formation and bone resorption by secreting OSM, which plays an important role in bidirectional regulation of bone homeostasis. This paper reviews the research progress of OSM on bone homeostasis.
