他汀类药物在颌骨缺损再生中的骨代谢及免疫调控研究进展

摘要: 由于他汀类药物具有强大的降胆固醇活性,它已经彻底改变了心血管疾病的治疗方法。而近年来,越来越多的实验证据表明,他汀类药物可以通过多种途径调节炎症反应、免疫反应、骨代谢和细菌清除。通过骨支架材料负载此类药物在颌骨缺损再生中体现出巨大的优势。本文综述了他汀类药物调控骨代谢的直接作用机制以及通过骨免疫间接调控骨代谢的多向性作用机制。

Abstract: Statins are known for their beneficial effects on lowering cholesterol, which contribute to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. In recent years, more and more experimental results have demonstrated that statins modulate inflammation, immune response, bone metabolism, and bacterial clearance through several pathways. Local delivery systems combining an osteoconductive biomaterial with statins is a popular approach in the regeneration of craniofacial defects. In this paper we review the direct and indirect mechanism of statins by affecting the immune system in bone metabolism.
