Abstract: This paper systematically reports the complete diagnosis and treatment process of an adult patient with skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion treated by clear aligner orthodontics combined with orthognathic surgery. Based on the patient’s skeletal and dental problems in three dimensions, as well as the concurrent dental caries and periapical periodontitis, combined with the patient’s chief complaint, clear aligner technology combined with orthognathic surgery significantly improved the patient’s tooth arrangement, occlusal relationship, facial aesthetics, and periodontal health.
