Abstract: Patients with severe periodontitis often lose teeth due to severe attachment loss, accompanied by local soft and hard tissue defects. It is necessary to design a personalized treatment plan based on the disease in combination with multiple disciplines to restore the integrity of the dentition, so as to achieve the long-term stability of the occlusal function and periodontal tissue. This paper reports the whole process of sequential treatment of a patient with severe periodontitis, including disease analysis, periodontal surgery, implant repair of missing teeth, supportive treatment, and follow-up observation for 8 years.
