Abstract: Objective: To improve the quality of the whole medical guidance by comparing the oral medical education difference at home and abroad. Methods: Through comparing oral medical education from medical colleges constrution, teaching staff, teaching and examination mode between our country and Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries, we summarize reasons of poor ability of oral medical graduates in our country in comprehensive diagnosis and treatment. Results: There is a big gap at the above several aspects between our country and Europe and the United States. Conclusion: We should greatly increas oral medicine professional class hours, establish and improve the colleges and universities education supervision mechanism, increase the students' clinical practice, develop the training of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment.
