Abstract: Objective: To observe and analyze the clinical effect of root canal microscope combined with ultrasonic oscillation in root canal treatment. Methods: From February 2018 to February 2019, 80 patients who needed root canal treatment were admitted to the Department of Stomatology of our hospital and were randomly divided into study group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. Patients in the study group underwent root canal therapy with microscope combined with ultrasonic oscillation technology, and patients in the control group underwent root canal therapy with conventional techniques. The patients were evaluated with visual analogue scale (VAS) and measured the content of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) before and after treatment. And the overall treatment efficiency and patient satisfaction were also assessed. Results: The VAS scores of two groups of patients after the treatment were lower than those before the treatment, and the study group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). The content of IL-6, TNF-α, and hs-CRP of two groups of patients were lower than those before the treatment, and the study group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). The overall effective rate of the study group was 95.00%, which was higher than 77.50% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with the traditional technology, the root canal treatment used by microscope combined with ultrasonic vibration could effectively reduce the pain of patients after treatment, reduce the level of inflammatory factors, and improve the overall effectiveness and patient satisfaction. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
