Abstract: Dynamic navigation technology allows accurate localization and negotiation of calcified root canals, avoiding excessive dentin removal and reducing the probability of complications. Currently, the most common registration method for non-surgical endodontic treatment in dynamic navigation is U-shaped tube registration, which has disadvantages of secondary seating errors and the need to take additional cone beam CT (CBCT) scanning for registration. In this case, intraoral scan-assisted marker registration was used for dynamic navigation and the calcified root canal of the mandibular anterior teeth was successfully localized and negotiated, which demonstrated the feasibility of digital intraoral scanning technology applied to dynamic navigation registration.
