Abstract: The restoration of short-crown molars with a crown-to-gum distance less than 3 mm is challenging. Typically, either a post-core crown or a pulpal chamber retention crown is used, each with its own merits and drawbacks. In this case, a modified endocrown was applied and observed for two years to analyze its principles, advantages, and disadvantages.
