Abstract: Objective: To explore the clinical value of“4+1” nursing cooperation mode in alveolar surgery. Methods: 526 patients undergoing the extraction of lower impacted wisdom teeth were randomly divided into two groups (control group: 255 cases; experimental group: 271 cases). In the experimental group, a circuit nurse was added compared to the control group only including four-hand operation. The operation time and postoperative complications were recorded and compared between two groups. Results: The operation time, degree of swelling and mouth-opening limitation, and incidence of infection were significantly lower in the experimental group compared to the control group (P<0.05). Additionally, the incidence of dry socket was extremely low, and there were no significant differences between two groups. Conclusion: Nursing cooperation mode of“4+1” in alveolar surgery could effectively reduce the operation time and risk of postoperative complications.
