Progress of Orthognathic Surgery and Distraction Osteogenesis in the Treatment of OSAHS

Abstract: Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a common clinical disease that causes multiple organ damage and may threaten life. Surgery is the main effective treatment. At present, orthognathic surgery and distraction osteogenesis have been widely used to treat OSAHS patients secondary to jaw deformities. This article reviews the clinical application of orthognathic surgery and distraction osteogenesis in the treatment of OSAHS.
