Abstract: Supernumerary teeth are common clinical anomalies in the number of teeth, which can occur in any position of the jaw. Impacted supernumerary teeth can lead to displacement of neighboring teeth, root resorption, and cysts in jaw, which often need to be extracted. The traditional method of extracting impacted supernumerary teeth requires a large amount of bone removal, resulting in a large amount of bone tissue loss and surgical trauma. In this paper, we report the extraction of an impacted supernumerary tooth with cyst in left mandible by "bone lid technique" through piezosurgery.
