Abstract: Objective: investigate the clinicopathological features affecting patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma based on a public database SEER (Surveillance Epidemiology, and End Results). Methods: Data from patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma in major salivary gland from 2004 to 2015 were downloaded from the SEER public database. Both univariate and multivariate COX regression analysis were applied to investigate the key clinicopathological parameters associated with prognosis. Results: A total of 428 ACC patient' data with complete clinical follow-up information were included in the study. The multivariate COX regression analysis proved that tumor site, T stage, N stage, M stage, and histological grade were independent factors affecting the patients prognosis (P<0.05). Conclusion: Tumor site, T stage, N stage, M stage, and histological grade were independent factors affecting the prognosis which would be a great assist for the clinical treatment.
