Occlusal relationship not only affects the health of the oral and maxillary system, but also is closely related to the health of the systemic system. Occlusal disharmony, as a chronic stressor, has been studied for its relationship with general health, especially its role in emotional disorders. Thus, we made a review on the research related to occlusal disharmony and anxiety and depression like behavior, to provide reference for the mental health assessment of patients with occlusal disharmony.
