Fusion of Right Mandibular Molar and Deformed Supernumerary Teeth with Apical Resorption: A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Fusion teeth is caused by two adjacent dentins fusion, occurred in both deciduous and permanent dentitions,but it rarely occurred in permanent molars. Herein, we reported a right mandibular permanent molar fused with a deformed supernumerary tooth with apical resorption caused by chronic apical periodontitis, and its clinical and imaging examinations are described. Through literature review, the etiology and treatment approaches are discussed.
