Abstract: Pedunculated odontogenic tumor (POT) is a rare benign tumor that is easily misdiagnosed clinically. In this paper, we reported a case of mandibular swelling as the first symptom, initially diagnosed as ameloblastic fibroma (AF), and then recurred and finally diagnosed as POT. The clinicopathological features of the tumor were discussed in relation to the reasons for recurrence, with a view to providing reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of POT in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
