Abstract: Oral lichen planus, a chronic immunoinflammatory disease mediated by T lymphocytes, clinically manifests as white reticulation symmetrically distributed on the mucosa, with or without congestive erosion. We report a patient with oral white reticulation, extensive erosion, and hyperplasia on the tongue, who was diagnosed with erosive hypertrophic oral lichen planus, aiming to explore the clinical manifestations, histopathological features, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and therapy of such disease, and thus serving as a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
