Abstract: Objective: To research Ag-embedded nano-TiO2 (Ag-TiO2) antibacterial agent on the properties of two kinds of soft denture liner materials antibacterial effect, to provide a theoretical basis for future application in the clinical. Methods: Ag-embedded nano-TiO2 was added to sofreliner medium soft lining materials and self-curing soft liner ranging from 0 to 4%. In vitro bacterial culture, the antibacterial effect of samples and antibacterial longer were tested. Results: Analysis of experimental data shows the experimental group compared with control group differences were statistically significant and with Ag-TiO2 antibacterial agent added mass ratio increased, the antibacterial rate significantly increased. After dealing with the aging of soft lining materials, antibacterial rate changed little compared with before treatment,no significant differences as. Conclusion: Add Ag-TiO2 antibacterial agent of 2 kinds of soft liner materials has antimicrobial properties, and the antibacterial rate as antibacterial percentage rise significantly increased; At the same time Ag-TiO2 antibacterial agent has antibacterial effect longer.
