Tension Stress, Runx2 Expression, and Condyle Development

Abstract: Mandibular condylar cartilage is one of the growth areas of mandibular growth and development, and its growth and development are affected by many factors. It is believed that tensile stress can promote condylar cartilage osteogenesis, and Runx2 gene expression is also closely related to condylar cartilage osteogenesis. This paper reviews the research progress on the relationship between tensile stress, Runx2 expression, and condylar development.
