Removing of Fishbone in Root of Tongue Assisted by CBCT Localization: A Case Report

Abstract: Oral foreign bodies are common in clinical treatment of oral and maxillofacial surgery. The most common places for foreign bodies were gums, tongue, bottom of mouth, and upper pharynx. However, foreign bodies in the root of tongue are rare and may cause a series of complications. The foreign body of fishbone in tongue base removed by CBCT-assisted localization was reported in this case.
