Research Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treatment of Oral Submucous Fibrosis.

Abstract

Abstract: Oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) mainly focuses on drug therapy. Traditional Chinese medicine has made a great progress in the treatment of the disease in recent years. This paper firstly explains the mechanism of OSF, and then summarizes the clinical research progress in recent years from natural medicines, proprietary Chinese medicine, and prescriptions, with aim to provide reference for clinical medication of OSF.
