Abstract: Objective: To determine the geometric parameters of sectional structure of porous implants based on statistical analysis of ordinary implant, and to compare the advantage of porous implant with different pore shape, pore size and location to the solid implant by finite element analysis. Methods: 6D dental implants design software was used to determine the geometric parameters by building UG models. The largest and suitable occlusal force loading was simulated in the finite element software to analyze stress distribution of four different implants in the mandible. Results: The stress distributions of four different implants in the mandible are different. The stress of diamond staggered arrangement of porous implants is significantly less than others. Conclusion: Compared to solid implant, appropriate porous structure implant is far more superior for implant restoration.
