Abstract: Due to the particularity of oral therapy, floating particles such as droplets and aerosols will inevitably be produced during the treatment. During the critical period of prevention and control of new coronavirus pneumonia, oral and maxillofacial surgery is greatly affected. Meanwhile, oral and maxillofacial general anesthesia can easily cause the spread of virus in the process of airway management, which also brings great challenges to anesthesia management. From the perspective of specialty, we discuss the general anesthesia management in order to provide reference for the implementation of general anesthesia in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the period of virus infection.
