Abstract: Diabetic bone disease is a devastating complication of diabetes, and its incidence rate has been increased year by year. Chronic hyperglycemia caused by diabetes can increase the risk of systemic osteoporosis and fractures. In the oral cavity, it can manifest as periodontitis, loss of alveolar bone, and implant bone failure. At present, its pathogenesis is not completely clear. The study of oral diabetic bone disease focuses more on the choice of drug therapy. In the actual clinical application, drugs should be selected according to the adverse reactions of the drugs and the severity of the disease, and the appropriate dose and treatment course should be determined so that the patient can obtain the best therapeutic effect.
