Abstract: The extraction of supernumerary teeth should follow the minimally invasive principle to avoid adverse effects on the development of permanent teeth and jaws in children and adolescents. Traditional operations have large trauma and many complications. This paper reported a case of maxillary embedded mesiodens that was impacted in the sagittal direction between the roots of bilateral central incisors and was extracted as a whole by punching out method. The minimally invasive surgery of no flap or bone removal was achieved.
