Abstract: Objective: To investigate the efficiency of caries removal by mini-invasive method using carisolv. Methods: Seventy-six patients with carious lesions were devided randomly into two groups: mini-invasive (carisolv) group and control group, both of which had 38 cases. Carious lesion was removed by mini-invasive method or traditional high speed drilling respectively. The intensity of pain and clinical efficiency of the two groups were observed and analyzed. Results: Patients in the mini-invasive group felt less pain and got better clinical effect than the control group, and the results had l significant differences. Conclusion: Mini-invasive method of caries removal was found more safe and efficient than traditional drilling. The mini-invasive method can be widely used in clinic.
