Abstract: Objective: To assess the skeletal changes of patients with disc displacement with reduction not in pubertal or pre pubertal stage treated with modified Twin-block by means of lateral cephalometric radiographs. Methods: Twenty-six patients with disc displacement with reduction over 20 years were included in the study. All patients were successfully treated with modified Twin-block. Lateral cephalometric radiographs were taken before and 2 months after treatment. Measurements of SNA, SNB, ANB, SN-PP, PP-MP, N-ANS, ANS-Me pre and post were taken. Results: ANS-Me values significantly increased after treatment. There were no significant differences for the indices of SNA, SNB, ANB, SN-PP, PP-MP, N-ANS before and after treatments. Conclusion: Modified Twin-block slightly increases lower facial height of patients over 20 years hisoldy with disc displacement with reduction. No other skeletal changes were found in this study.
